St John Paul II Feast

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Peace be with you!

*Reflection on the Holy Spirit continues:*

_The Holy Spirit has all the marks of personality.:

**The Holy Spirit has knowledge.*

St. Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, “ posits that: The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no-one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”

Because He is Divine and Infallible He knows God intimately and knows the deep things about God. He himself possesses the infinite wisdom of God. He knows what God is thinking at all times and always acts in perfect harmony with God’s perfect will. Only He can reveal to us the deep things of God to us. His wisdom is far beyond the capacity of human wisdom, knowledge and insight. Only those who have the Holy Spirit living within them can have God’s spiritual wisdom. They can understand Word. They can recognize His guidance and presence in their daily lives and be regularly led by Him. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God (Romans 8:14).

Without the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives we will never understand the deep things of God. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God because they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any mans judgment (1 Corinthians 2:14-15)

If we have the Holy Spirit within us then we will know what pleases God and what doesn’t please him. We will have the capacity to evaluate our attitudes, values, desires and ambitions as God evaluates them. The person without the Holy Spirit cannot perceive what pleases God because the things of God are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them. God Himself is the only true source of all wisdom and the Holy Spirit will impart that wisdom to us if we ask Him for it. (James 1:5-6) Only He can interpret the Bible and teach us how to please God. Only He can give us the capacity to fulfil God’s will with all of our heart. The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person who is filled with God’s wisdom and who reveals to us what He knows about God. If we have been born again then He is accessible to us for every situation and circumstance of our life. The Holy Spirit is everything to Us.

😇We pray for the fullest outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Us, to guide us into the complete truth of our faith. Amen. 🙏🏼

* Divine Mercy Reflection:

_The Mercy of the Angels. _
-Only in Heaven will we understand the gift of the angelic hosts. These magnificent spiritual beings were created by God out of love. Some were created for the sole purpose of eternal worship and adoration of the Most Holy Trinity. They never tire of this calling and worship God with an ever deepening love and communion. Other angelic beings were created to bring the love and Mercy of God to us.

The Guardian Angels and Archangels are two such creations that are constantly interceding for us, protecting us and guiding us into the Will of God. Our knowledge of them is not necessary for their continued attentiveness to our love and care. But humbly acknowledging their mediation and calling upon them is an act of pure faith and trust in God. They are here with us and we must call on them, trust in them, hope in them and love them. Doing so is the Will of God and an acknowledgment of one central way through which He pours forth His Divine Mercy (See Diary #706).

Do you call on the angels to come to your aid? Do you pray to your guardian angel and St. Michael the Archangel, in particular? We must trust in their powerful mediation and sacred ability to guard and protect us in accord with the Mind and Will of God. Speak to these angels today, and allow yourself to become more fully consecrated to their care.

Lord, I thank You for the gift of the holy angels. I thank You for Sts. Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, my guardian angel and for the whole host of Heaven. I pray that I will continually be open to the workings of these angelic beings in my life. Through their mediation, keep me safe from all evil and direct me in accord with Your holy Will. Jesus, I trust in You.

May Almighty God bless, protect, provide and keep you all in His love and peace. +

We shall overcome in His Name.
